RBLD Modal Sampler

This is a Max for Live instrument.

It uses a series of equalizers to generate overtones from the sound source. The sound sources include a sample player—which can be key-tracked or not—and a pink noise generator, both with independent level controls.

You can set the level of each overtone and adjust a global Q factor for all of them. It also features filters, envelopes, and jitter controls for overtone frequency and amplitude, which can be especially interesting for fast-attack sounds.
